If a friend asked you for some new music recommendations, what would you suggest?

I don't listen to too much mainstream music, but if a friend were to ask me to reccomend some music to them, I'd suggest: Scars on Broadway, Alesana, Fear Before the March of Flames, Atrevy, Rise Against, Avoid One Thing, Hawthrone Heights, Jackson United, Less than Jake, Lenny Kravitz, Boxcar Racer and The White Stripes.

Well the first friend that I added to lj is Melissa and yeah, she is still on my list and doing well.
I've added a couple more people since then but I find her blogs to be most interesting. She's great at photography!

I have been busy.
Yesterday I went out to Target and bought my two latest favorite movies; Slumdog Millionaire and 7 pounds. (If you haven't seen them both, check 'em out) I also picked up the movie Taken, just to see what it was about.
IT WAS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE!
Great plot, great acting, great action, great ending.
Right up there with Slumdog and 7pounds for me.
Last year was a wonderful year for filmmakers. Such great movies they have created for us to enjoy. It almost makes me want to write a script just for the heck of it.

Oh and has anyone seen the movie Grand Turino with Clint Eastwood? I was wondering if that would be a good watch for me.

What's your favorite Christmas movie?
Mine happens to be Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I remember watching that movie back when I was really young all the time, even when it wasn't anywhere near christmas time.

Sorry I haven't been online much. Remember my sister Amanda? I've been hanging out with her alot. She has alot of family problems.. so I'm trying to keep her from having to deal with her hateful emotions towards them. She enjoys hanging with me and it's great to feel like a big brother and know that she has at least someone positive to look up to. Lately I've had alot of free time since Alyssa has kept Jake for about 4 months so far. I'm still checking out some areas and none of them have been appealing for my resturant at all so I have decided to hold back on the resturant and save up way more money to be able to find better hot spots. I was given a new camera from my Grandmother. Here are some pictures of myself and my amazing new love Sammy;

Heath did a great job as the Joker, but how can you give someone an Oscar when they're deceased?
I'm not sure why everybody's raving on about this movie. It was just pretty average to me. Not to mention that I fell asleep twice on it. What about the guy who played Harvey Dent? Or Christian Baile. They should be offered the same type of rewards since they gave just as much into their roles as Heath did. I haven't see a Heath Ledger movie that I've liked ever. You think maybe he's offered an Oscar just because this was his only big name movie that people actually enjoy? Idk, you tell me.

Lately, i've been so stressed and busy.
I never get any free time to myself lately since I'm working double jobs to raise up 250,000 for this area where i'm planning to open up my resturant.

I have been fixing computer with the same problems over and over at circuit city and i've been talking my ass off at hollywood video. I got an evening job at hollywood video a couple of weeks ago and I really love it. I know too much about movies. Handling those 2 jobs and school is a bit overwhelming, but I'm holding pretty stong.

There isn't much that I have to write about at the moment, so i'll keep you updated.

Btw, One Missed Call remake and the Eye remake and Shutter remake were all crap. I suggest not seeing those. Try the originals.
I picked up Donnie Darko last night before I left work and has anyone else seen this movie?
